We really enjoy traveling to saltwater destinations. These are the qualities we look for in a light saltwater fly rod: Fast action that is powerful and easy to cast.

Bonefish, redfish, small stripers, sea trout, baby tarpon and small snook are the most common species of fish we are catching with this rod. These rods handle weighted or wind resistant flies well. It will cast as well as we can in windy conditions. Normal casting distances are 20'- 90'. Also, the rod should break down into multiple pieces because we are traveling on airplanes to the fishing destination.
