The Sage rod most of us at Western Rivers have been looking for....Finally! This is a "advanced slow" action rod that is perfect for the fishing we prefer to do around here. For Steve Schmidts full review of the CIRCA click here.... It's also the first rod I've seen come through the shop that the shop rats were trying to order even before we got stock in. Ken fished this up on the Henry's Fork for 3 days, and we couldn't get him to share. It's the same half wells grip as the one rods which is our favorite cork grip, plus the small diameter of the blank makes this one of the lightest rods we've cast. One notable thing with this rod is because of the slower action you usually have some serious tip deflection when you apply to much power, but just like the One rod with Konnetic technology you have hardly any deflection. With the action of this rod it's by far the most accurate of any that compare. We've thrown several different lines on this rod and the RIO double taper LT, Sharkskin double taper, and SA Trout Stalker are what we prefer.
