Fly-fishing with a Spey Rod has been something we have been teaching and doing for decades now at Western Rivers Flyfisher. It started with Simon Gawesworth, not only one of the great spey casting instructors on the planet. Under his tutelage, Greg Pearson and I have developed a school that is designed to address a wide range of spey casting needs. From basic spey casting techniques, for those who are just getting started, to those who have been introduced to spey casting, but want to learn a new cast or fine tune their techniques.
The focus of this school is to improve your skills regardless of your ability, increase your knowledge and understanding of the equipment that is currently available and broaden your fly fishing horizons so that you'll get more enjoyment out of your days on the water with a two handed rod. And, most importantly have fun doing so.
We are fortunate to have the Trout Hunter Ldg, as our host. The are conveneintly located on the banks of the famous Henry's Fork. This is an ideal setting for this class; great facility, food and ease of access to the water. Class includes: instruction, two nights lodging and equiment if you need it. Class is limited to 8 students. For more information, or to register, call us at (801)521-6424.
Join us for a great learning experience on the beautiful banks of the Henry's Fork. Whether it is Spey, Switch or a Skagit style of casting you are interested in learning we can teach you.
