Streamer Tying School
January 18th, 2012
Cost $30
Streamers are the most fun flies to tie, and in this class we will cover some effective and fun patterns. We will go over some of the different types and styles of streamers, including articulated streamers, the new Fish Skull heads and other new materials. We will cover streamer for the local waters and include the Platte River Spider, a woolhead sculpin, the Circus Peanut, and the House Special. This class will focus on making streamer tying easy, and is a great class for the new tyer who wants to crank out some of the fat bugs for the fat fish. We will provide all tools and materials for the class, but as always we encourage you to bring your own tools and vise to the class. These flies will focus on inexpensive, easily obtained materials and will be a great basis for more advanced techniques. The class is $30 dollars and will be held on Wednesday, January 18th at 6:30pm. A fifty percent deposit is required and the class is limited to 6 students. As always, if you have any questions please call Western Rivers Flyfisher (801-521-6424) or email Matt at info@wrflyfisher.com. |
